Empower Illinois

Todd and Lisa Nethery describing the Invest in Kids program, which allows Illinois residents to contribute state tax dollars directly to their parish school and receive a tax credit equal to 75% of their donation. This unique opportunity enables your tax dollars to be used in a way that supports our Catholic beliefs and directly benefits Catholic families. I understand the financial difficulties of many right now, and realize that some may not be in a position to help. If your circumstances permit, consider looking at how much money you give to the state of Illinois each year in taxes to determine what gift might be appropriate. Only a few hundred dollars for you (after the tax credit) could mean thousands to a family in need.

More information on the program, including a how-to video on the donation process, is available at https://empowerillinois.org/donors/ and on the school and parish websites. Please contact Jill Lindsey in the school office at 309-243-2493, ext 2101, or via email at  jlindsey@stjudecatholic.com if you need additional assistance. We are here to help however needed! Thank you for your consideration, and a special thanks to the many who have already donated to this great program.
